Dr. Xing Guo Fu graduated from the Beijing Chinese Academy of Chinese Traditional Medicine (CACTM) Graduate School, where he earned an M.M.S. Degree. Later while serving as the Deputy Chief Physician of both the Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and CACTM, Dr. Fu also taught concurrently at the Beijing Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Traumatology. In addition, he held membership in both the Chinese Medical Association (CMA) and the Chinese Congress of Acupuncture and Moxibustion.
During his more than 30 years of practicing TCM, Dr. Fu has published numerous papers, including among the most noteworthy:
"Standardization of planning treatment according to diagnosis"
"A Preliminary investigation on Traditional Chinese Medicine Psychology"
"Effectiveness of Acupuncture in the treatment of ninety-one cases of Impotence"
Rationale or the change of the Ancient Therapeutic recipes of sexual abnormalities with some comments"
"Study on Luo Tian Yi's thoughts on Acupuncture and Moxibustion"
Dr. Fu has also contributed to the "Clinical Synopsis of Contemporary Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion," the "Clinical Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine," the Therapeutic of Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion," the Grand Dictionary for Acupuncture and Moxibustion," and the "Modern Chinese Traditional Internal Medicine," while punctuating and proofing "Medical Invention: Key for Life" by Li Dong Heng of the Jin Dynasty. His main interest of clinical research has focused on the treatment of male sexual disorders.
For the past 5 years, Dr. Fu has been a Professor serving on the faculty of The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California. He currently maintains a private practice in his Fremont, California clinic.
